Other Pre-requisites

Web Server

Install the following on the Web Server:

IIS 7.0 or better
Windows Identity Foundation
SSRS for SQL Server 2012 SP2

Data Processing Server(s)

Install the following on the Data Processing Server(s):

eB Director
Navigator Mobile Publisher

Exposing Ports

Expose ports 18380 and 18382 through the firewall between the Application and Data Processing Servers.

Note: If the firewall cannot be disabled, you need to open ports 18380 and 18382 on the Application Server, Data Processing Server and Web Server for both incoming and outgoing.

Securing the System

Add a certificate to the App Server.
Provide a public DNS (Domain Name System) for the App Server Database.
Provide a public DNS for the App Server.
Provide a public DNS for the Web Server.
Add the public DNS for the App Server Database to the App Server HOSTS file in %systemroot%\system32\drivers\etc.
Add the public DNS for the App Server to the Data Processing Server HOSTS file in %systemroot%\system32\drivers\etc.
